Andrés Brender is reporter for Noticiero Telemundo 48 News, which airs Monday through Friday at 5:30 PM, 6 PM and 11 PM Telemundo 48 Bay Area / KSTS, the local station that serves the speech community Spanish in the bay area of California.
As part of the team Noticiero Telemundo 48, Brender reports the breaking news and more importance to viewers of the Bay Area of California. Brender joined Telemundo 48 in 2013.
Before joining Telemundo 48, Brender worked on different networks and stations, including the local station in Los Angeles, Telemundo 52 / KVEA and television stations America TeVe, Star, Globovision TV Azteca, NatGeo and Network Ten in Australia.
Brender has received an Emmy Award in the category of science and health for the report “From Challenges to Overcome.” Brender received his BA in Journalism from Emerson College and two master’s degrees, one in International Studies and another in International Security at the University of Sydney in Australia. Brender is a member of the National Association of Hispanic Journalists and the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences.
